This policy explains what information BSC collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Newsletter subscribers. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store the email address you provide so we can send you new posts. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email we send.
Contact form. If you use the contact form, the name, email address and message you submit are sent to us by email so we can respond. We do not add contact form senders to the newsletter unless they subscribe separately.
Quick poll. Homepage poll votes are recorded as anonymous counts. We do not tie a vote to your name, email or IP address; your browser remembers that you voted using local storage on your own device.
Cookies
BSC does not run third-party advertising or analytics trackers. WordPress sets a small number of standard cookies for site functionality (for example, if you ever log in), and our caching plugin may set cookies related to page performance. These are not used to build an advertising profile of you.
How we use your information
Email addresses are used only to send the content you signed up for (the newsletter) or to reply to the message you sent us (the contact form). We do not sell or rent your information to third parties.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by reaching out through our contact page.
Children
BSC is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The current version always applies to information we collect going forward.
